About The Old Fox

This attractive 300-year old stone-built village local is in the centre of the village on the Cotswold Way.

The pub purchased from Ei Group and was completely refurbished in 2018 and is now a free house with a single room, divided into separate distinct drinking areas, and large oak bar with plenty of seating on benches and at tables. It has up to six real ale handpumps and three for cider.

A wood burning stove provides heating in the winter. A traditional pub menu is available and there are out door seating areas to the front and the side.

The pub, in its previous incarnation, was formerly a local CAMRA Pub of the Year.

Had dinner for the first time tonight & it was absolutely lovely. To be honest, I knew it would be! 
Confess to being slightly biased as Julie & Ellie used to own my local pub & we had some wonderful times in there. 
They are quietly working their magic at the Fox & have a great chef who is creative but understands that people want to go out for a good dinner without having to google all the ingredients & descriptions! 
Looking forward to trying a Sunday lunch 
The old fox maybe a bit out the way but if you want a relaxing dinner with good food & real ales, I would suggest you visit!

Good atmosphere, great beers and yummy pizza

They have done an absolutely amazing job with the place, totally new look and atmosphere! They were really welcoming, friendly and relaxed had a good section of drinks. They also have a table made of the old bar and have started a photo board of the pub in previous years which I think is a really nice touch. Absolutely what Coaley needs and will be back again really soon!
